... From virtual reality to real life (Part 2/2)

[english version]

...From virtual worlds to "real life" (second part)

The wiimote has proven its usability with robots in real environments. Some publication and applications dealt with it :

Abstract

The purpose is to test different ways of controlling a robot :
Kinesthesic teaching, from motion sensors attached to the body of the user and, finally with the use of the wireless wiimote from Nintendo.

Comment

A practical explanation of an experiment with a robotized arm. Here, performance evaluation is not a part of the report.

Abstract

The project aims to control robot Aïbo with an interface as intuitive and easy-to-use interface as the wiimote.

Comment

The website offers description of hardware devices, needed libraries , source codes, installation and a publication of project results. A well-documented integration work.
